Mackinac Island

No motorized vehicles are permitted on the island. Transportation to Mackinac Island is limited to boats and by ferry. Your group will discover the only modes of transportation on the island are limited to bicycles, horse-drawn carriages and walking.

Mackinac Island has been a favorite destination for thousands of groups since the early 1800s.

A highlight of your tour will certainly be the world renown Grand Hotel, where the grounds of the Grand Hotel are noted for its overflowing flower beds and red potted Geraniums. Walk down the steps of the world's largest porch to the Esther Williams swimming pool.

Your group can then take a short carriage to Main Street for leisurely strolls and sightseeing, and remember to sample some of the world famous Mackinac Fudge.

Mackinac Island is home to the world's largest horse and buggy livery.
